Trusted, on-demand legal advisors to creative small businesses
Meet Jamie
Jamie R. Mogil, Esq., has spent her career working to amplify the voices of everyday people as an advocate, attorney, and activist.
She began her legal career prosecuting securities and consumer protection class actions and appeals, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in recovery and new and updated policies by companies to protect against future wrongdoing. Ms. Mogil used this experience to form her own law firm, JRMogil Law, which focuses on continuous growth and development for small businesses, particularly in the creative industries of architecture, design, and landscaping. She is admitted to practice in New York, Pennsylvania, the District Courts of the SDNY, EDNY, NDIL, and the Circuit Courts of the Second, Sixth, and Ninth Circuits.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Mogil is a voting rights and election integrity expert, especially in Pennsylvania, where she grew up and lives. Ms. Mogil dedicated the last decade to expanding voter access, civically engaging the public, empowering young voters, and pushing for fair and transparent government. She worked for Common Cause as 2018 PA Election Protection Director, leading the largest nonpartisan coalition in PA history. She also worked for Fair Districts PA, creating and leading the process to pass hundreds of municipal resolutions supporting redistricting reform that cover over 9 million Pennsylvanians. Ms. Mogil also worked as a voter protection attorney for the Obama re-election in 2012 and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaigns in 2016.
Ms. Mogil is a longtime member of the League of Women Voters and the former Vice President for Government and Social Policy for the PA League. She helped pass Act 77, PA’s first new election reforms in over 80 years, expanding vote by mail to all eligible voters, successfully challenging the Marsy’s Law ballot question as unconstitutional. Currently, she is President of her local League of Women Voters of Lower Merion & Narberth, member of the Advisory Board to PA Youth Vote, and serves on the Board of Narberth Area Community Food Bank. As a Lower Merion native growing up outside Philadelphia, Ms. Mogil naturally comes by her fanaticism for all things democracy, gardens, and Philly sports.
